Pirates!
Sunday, November 9, 2014, 2:00 p.m.
Aarghh, mateys! It’s the Oregon Symphony’s merry band of pirates on another swashbuckling adventure. The musical booty includes Handel’s Water Music, Badelt’s music to Pirates of the Caribbean, Mendelssohn’s “Fingal’s Cave” and Korngold’s music to Captain Blood.

Picture This…
Sunday, March 8, 2015, 2:00 p.m.
Picture this, indeed! Pair up art works from the Portland Art Museum with some of the most beautiful classical music ever written and you have a feast for the eyes and the ears.

Peter and the Wolf
April 19, 2015, 2:00 p.m.
Three musicians and a conductor’s assistant must outwit the fearsome wolf that threatens orchestra and audience alike (without upsetting the maestro!). The renowned Magic Circle Mime Co. turns the Schnitz into a theatrical setting and musicians into the characters of the story as Prokofiev’s exhilarating musical tale springs to life, putting kids right where they belong—on the edge of their seats.

All Concerts designed for kids ages 5–10. Kids concerts last approximately one hour.
